You Could Be The Creator Of The Next International TV Hit

CBC, Digital Rights Group and the online film community Filmaka are running a competition to find the next hit TV format. Filmaka members are focusing on ideas for reality or game shows.

Entrants must submit a “visually enhanced” written pitch — for anything from a classic studio-based show to some sort of reality hybrid. Entries will be judged by DRG and CBC’s in-house development team, after which five entrants will win funds to shoot 15-minute pilots.

The deadline for submissions is January 24, 2010.
