FanViewr lets content creators take advantage of Facebook’s new Timeline for Pages by providing an all-in-one custom application designed for entertainment products. By following simple prompts, users can post cast bios, episode synopsis and broadcast schedules with ease.
FanViewr also allows users to embed video — from full episodes to sneak peeks — and organize Facebook, Get Glue and Twitter streams. Future features like polls, trivia, mini-games are on the horizon for FanViewr as is the ability to charge for content with Facebook credits.
FanViewr eliminates the need for multiple apps, is fully supported, and appears as a tab with a custom thumbnail image and title beneath the cover photo on the Timeline.
The application can be activated with a 30-day free trail for anyone with a Facebook brand page.
To date, FanViewr has been used to deliver episodes and docu-trailer videos for the procedural drama King (Showcase) and by History Television (D-Day to Victory) and TELETOON (My Babysitter’s a Vampire). Web series include Black Cab Sessions, Trendhunter.com and Keynotes.org.
Launched in 2006, greenHAT digital is a Toronto-based agency that provides digital marketing, social media and strategy to entertainment, culture, beauty and personal care brands.
