It takes a lot of imagination and an equal measure of hard work to promote a web series. The team behind Life Coach have taken the suggestion to promote, promote, promote and wrapped it into several fun, targeted partnerships.
First up is a promotion with Career Strategy & Recruitment Specialist, Michelle Nadon of mediaINTELLIGENCE. A contest was organized with mediaINTELLIGENCE sending out the link to the Life Coach trailer to its email list of 5,000+ media experts. Recipients were encouraged to enter to win a gift certificate by logging into YouTube and leaving a public comment on the Life Coach trailer. Check it out and enter. You have until April 1st, 2017.
The Life Coach team also partnered with Toronto retailer, Fresh Collective, on a series of Style Profiles. The content cross-promotion featured creator/director, Valerie Buhagair, producer Kelli Kieley and actress Rachel Wilson sporting Fresh Collective’s spring styles. The trio were showcased on the Fresh Collective blog as well as in a series of videos running on the Fresh Collective Facebook page.
Life Coach is a comedy web series about a a wannabe parent-preneur. The concept was developed by Valerie Buhagiar (Highway 61, Roadkill) and musician Steve Singh.
Newly separated from her husband ‘Steve’ (Ric Waugh), Kate (Rachel Wilson) decides to try her hand at coaching. Having had no training (outside of a stack of borrowed personal development books), she’s not very good at it — unbeknownst to her clients, who seem to think she is.
